Abstract

The international meeting between foundations and cultural networks, organised by the Fitzcarraldo Foundation with IETM and Forum Cultural Mundial, was heldover three years: in 2006 in Rio de Janeiro, in 2007 in Turin, and in 2008 in Lisbon.

Fifty representatives of foundations and cultural networks from Asia, Europe, America, and Africa participated in these exchanges. The workshop represented a moment of open and informal discussion on transnational cultural cooperation: approaches and policies, challenges, and evaluation methods.
